Description
This is a workshop designed to offer modifications and adjustments for widely used postures in the modern group yoga classes we attend today. Yoga is intended for us to FEEL the sensations of each posture, rather than achieve a certain aesthetic or way the posture looks. Lexi will break down the main components of each posture, highlighting the target sensations, and demonstrate how you can achieve that sensation by adjusting your physical body, incorporating props like blocks/bolsters, and gaining a better understanding of your own unique ranges of motion. Yoga is a beautiful practice that can greatly contribute to our relationships with our bodies, and after all, to better LOVE our body we must better understand it and the way it can move. Beginners and Seasoned Yogis are all welcome.
