Andrea / Chair Yoga Express & Slow Flow Yoga Express
Andrea’s yoga journey started due to some health concerns that made her realize she was not truly enjoying life and all her blessings. When Andrea started to practice seven years ago, she had no idea the joy, healing, and fulfillment it would bring! Andrea completed her Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) to deepen her practice and learn more about what yoga really meant. She wasn’t practicing just for exercise or to be more flexible anymore, she knew yoga was deeper than that and she wanted to explore its true definition. YTT was one of the greatest experiences of Andrea’s life. Andrea opened her heart and allowed herself to be fully present, make life long friendships, heal past scars, and see the light inside of her that she never knew was there. All because of yoga! As an instructor, Andrea’s goal is to help people understand the true meaning of yoga: the union between the self and divine self. To be any small part of someone’s healing journey or witness the first time they see the light within themselves is an amazing honor to Andrea! Andrea is a wife to her very supportive husband, Brian, a mother to her sweet daughter, Sammy and her silly crazy boy, Vinny, certified yoga instructor (RYT 200), certified in Yoga for 12-Step Recovery, and certified in yin yoga. Most importantly, Andrea is her one true self and she is enough!

Melissa / All Levels Yoga
Melissa discovered yoga in March 2021. While exploring ways to incorporate clean eating and fitness back into her life, she was influenced by a family member to attend a Vinyasa based yoga class at a studio in Wentzville, MO. She immediately felt an intense level of strength and confidence while attending her first class. Quickly she realized the power of breathing. Accepting and using the breath to move through many obstacles within her life. Within three months she found herself taking five to six classes per week. In June of 2021, she attended the studio sponsored 10 month Yoga Teacher Training program. By March of 2022, she graduated with a RYT-200 certification through Yoga Alliance. Yoga has quickly become a pinnacle component of what one could say has been an incredible life changing journey. Melissa’s approach to yoga remains simple: developing a connection and building the confidence within each of her students. A focus will be given to the balance between strength and flexibility, and edge and release. Each flow will encompass breath, movement, mindfulness, self-love and empowerment.
